French Blue Wedding Inspiration in Northern California
Guess what! You don’t have to run off all the way to France to have a Parisian-inspired wedding. In fact, Events by Kristina Elyse found the prettiest location nestled in the hills of Northern California for this luxe wedding editorial inspired by all things French at the lovely Helwig Winery.
Parisian blue hues, gorgeous blooms, and an amazing selection of carb-loaded goodies (croissants, cake, and cookies, oh my!) make this ultra feminine day magnifique from start to finish. Nestled in the rolling hills of vineyards in Northern California’s Amador County (a true hidden gem), lied a Parisian romantic evening that would have any bride dreaming of running off to France. An evening designed around classic Parisian blue, the delicatessen of the croissant and lush florals provided the perfect backdrop for A Little French Femininity in Northern California at the jaw-dropping Helwig Winery.

The bride, dressed in a flowing Blush by Hayley Paige gown from La Soie Bridal, chose a soft and romantic look by Lea of B Gorgeous, including a loose and tousled side braid. Paired with French blue Vince Camuto heels and a stunning gold and diamond ring, the bride’s look was then complete with a simple but stunning cathedral veil. The groom sported a classic black tie affair look from Bonobos, sure to make any bride swoon. Together, they would tie the knot in front of a ground arch of blooms and greens, with some of the prettiest views Northern California has to offer, reading their personal vows written to each other in their Art of Etiquette vow books.
French inspiration
Inspired by Parisian blue and the sweet treats of France, Kristina of Events by Kristina Elyse designed an intimate affair for the lover of all things classic, sweet, and French. A dinner table and sweetheart table draped in silky blue linens from Creative Coverings, lush florals from Violette Fleurs and timeless pieces from Celebrations Rentals created the perfect ambiance for wedding guests to enjoy an evening full of romance and celebration. The sweetheart table wouldn’t have been complete without a stunning candelabra, a hoop chandelier draped in blooms, custom calligraphy baguette menu holders and stationery from BLXVA Designs and matching sweetheart chair signs dawning “Monsieur and Madame” by Swoonable.
mouthwatering treats
Guests were treated to a beautiful spread of croissants, madeleines, macarons, and a French blue inspired three-tier cake from Baker & A Black Cat. Displayed within a gorgeous half circle floral arch, you couldn’t miss the stunning calligraphy place cards, some of Helwig’s classic wines, market flowers, and a dessert table that would make any mouth water.
