Enchanted Garden Wedding: Fairytale Inspiration with Pastel Blooms

Otherworldly is the only way to describe this lovely fairytale-inspired shoot in an enchanted garden. From the bride's headpiece and the tablescape to the cake, every inch of this editorial is dripping with the prettiest pastel blooms that scream spring wedding! For the ceremony, the bride wore a romantic tulle gown with a beaded lace bodice and whimsical ribbon ties that danced in the breeze. Then, for the reception, she slipped into a simple fitted mermaid gown with an illusion lace bodice that meshed beautifully with the floral garden motif.

Blush Events set out to create a fairytale garden wedding and they did just that–every bit of this shoot is fit for a princess. The garden at Allied Arts Guild is the perfect balance between quaint and enchanting, giving it that storybook feel. Jenny Floral Designer made these lovely pastel floral arrangements, including the bride's abstract floral headpiece. A fairytale-themed wedding does not have to be synonymous with surreal. It can bring a dreamy feeling if the environment is lively and depicts romance. The dress, shoes, flowers, cake, and even the bride's poses reflect that dreamy feeling. This event was filmed by The Moment Studio and this magical photoshoot was planned by Blush Events and photographed by Vivi Lin Photography. The overall theme was made to harmonize with the venue using subtle textures and colors. The use of soft spring colors with hints of terra cotta added balance to the soft spring color palette.

THE ROYAL TABLE

The walls of vines on each of the magical gardens represent a spring theme. To create synergy, the ceremony and the reception were placed together. The reception table is for a small gathering but does not compromise on the deep and abundant feeling. A garland centerpiece gives a royal feeling. For a country atmosphere, the center of the table is garnished with flowers. The white, peach, and terracotta-colored floral arrangement alludes to the enchanted garden and creates a magical atmosphere that is bright and soft at the same time. The multi-layered cake depicts the petals of a white flower. The petal-shaped layers represent the movement of clouds.

A PRINCESS BRIDE

The dress certainly has to have its effect with such a theme and the shoes too! The bride's dress and shoes depict the pure, cozy, and innocent feeling of a fairytale princess. The sparkly shoes are a nod to Cinderella's tale. The bride’s hairpiece gives a bright and soft touch to the look. Its shape is bold, made with the same colored flowers complementing the theme. The bride poses as she dances full of joyfulness, depicting a fairytale princess and fantasizing about a dream of newlywed life.
