From Hovik Harutyunyan of Modern LA Weddings: Allison wore a couture sheer high neck, long-sleeved, backless sheath gown with a court train. Her bridesmaids wore an assorted mix of styles in which each girl chose a palette of blush, nude, or taupe.
Jon looked dapper in a peak lapel midnight blue tuxedo while his groomsmen, all 19 of them, rocked the classic black version.
Hummingbird Nest Ranch is a naturally beautiful venue with Spanish-inspired architecture, lush lawns; a lake, horses, tranquil rustic fountains, and, not surprisingly, lots of hummingbirds!
Because there is so much natural greenery everywhere, the wedding's color palette of white, green, and peek-a-boos of blush popped without competing with the venue's aesthetics.
At 10pm the wedding took quite a vibrant change in course as guests were invited back to the cocktail hour space which had been completely transformed into a Moroccan Henna after-party while the reception was happening.
We brought in a specialty rental company that furnished the intricately beaded linens; ornate lounge pieces, authentic Moroccan lanterns; and stunning Persian rugs - all a celebration of Jon's ancestry.
Guests were entertained by a DJ, Moroccan drummer, and a belly dancer. One of the crowning moments of the evening was the 30 ft dessert station unveiled to the guests. It was complete with a monstrous berry naked cake, two towering croquembouches, and a wide array of French and Moroccan pastries.
