Autumn weddings tend to lean toward dark and moody color palettes, so when we came across this soft, romantic autumn wedding inspiration, we simply had to share it! This team used soft blush and pastel peach in a refreshing twist on the usual fall colors. To keep it feeling appropriate for the season, Garden Party Flowers utilized dried florals instead of bright greenery to give the wedding that muted fall look. A natural wood reception table also helped bring the outside in, giving this romantic shoot a little bit of a rustic edge.
Social Calendar Events wanted to challenge couples to think outside the box when planning their weddings, and not let the seasons dictate the design. The Wallace is such a cool and versatile space with natural light spilling in from the windows that stretch the length of the venue. The industrial architecture of the venue also helped add a modern flair to this otherwise romantic wedding design. Garden Party Flowers designed these stunning floral arrangements that really set the stage for every part of this wedding inspiration, from the ceremony and reception space to the lounge. Chuunice Photography captured all of the beautiful details that make this design so successful. We wanted to create something romantic, modern, and warm. We featured a blush, warm rose, terracotta, and beige color palette to create a softness and warmth for an autumn wedding. Our bride is bold and strong, but feminine–our shoot features the beautiful Pronovias Cheryl dress from Bisou Bridal, adorned with embellishments matched with beautiful puffy sleeves. We included a simple cathedral veil, complemented with a simple half-up updo by Simran Dosanjh, and silver jewelry from Luxia Jewelry. The florals are bursting with blush roses, fluffy pampas, and delectable cafe-au-lait dahlias, a masterpiece by Garden Party Flowers.
We wanted to create a unique, warm, and contemporary dining environment for our guests: a draping display hangs over the minimalistic dining area, vellum menus rest atop golden palms next to rose gold cutlery, and pink vertical table runners accompanied by dried florals. We also included a sweetheart table, flourishing with fresh and dried florals. We also featured a sizzling duck breast and Brussels sprouts entrée, and custom cocktails, curated and served by a chef from Cocktails And Canapes. The wedding cake is a stunning three-tier cake with a floating top layer, pampas and palms, and a beautiful fondant pattern by My Sweet Cake Vancouver.
For later in the evening, we also included a lounge area where guests can sit, relax and catch up with others next to the panoramic windows and industrial architectural beams of The Wallace. In addition to the stunning dining area, we also included velvet chairs, ottomans, and a loveseat from Ellssi Design + Rentals, comfortably nestled amongst more florals and pampas. Overlooking the Vancouver skyline and the Lonsdale Quay, it's the perfect way to end the night–with one of our pink signature cocktails of course!
