On the Venue:
The grandeur of the castle, serenity of the landscape and their first class wedding services make Glen Eyrie Castle the perfect fairytale location for your wedding. The centerpiece of Glen Eyrie is their inspiring 33,000 square foot castle built in the early 1900s. Nestled in a valley just minutes from Colorado Springs, surrounded by towering rock formations, rolling landscapes and gardens, Glen Eyrie is reminiscent of a bygone era of elegance.
Whether in the castle's Great Hall, with its oak paneling and limestone fireplace, or on the castle terrace with breathtaking hillside and valley views, Glen Eyrie's old-world charm provides a peaceful and memorable setting for you to exchange your vows!

Happy bride and groom sharing a tender moment

From the Bride:We decided without almost any question that we wanted to have our wedding outside - living in Colorado we were able to mix our love for the outdoors with my somewhat girly desire to get married in a castle. We wanted our friends and family to experience God, the scenery and the ceremony with us and from what we hear that was a success. We loved every part of the day.The Glen Eyrie Castle provided the perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremony. Light, airy fabric to mark the focal point of the space, a lace curtain to reveal the beautiful bride and gorgeous garden roses lining the aisle were all the decorations needed to dress up the pristine lawn for the day.

If I could have done anything differently, it would have been to worry LESS before the wedding. Friends, family, guests and vendors are all extremely kind and it was an absolute gift to experience how everyone pulls together to make it the "perfect" day. On the Sunday after the wedding, I was reflecting on our day - filled with so much gratitude and wondering why I ever worried about all the details coming together. The best advice I was given on the morning of my wedding was to take snap shots in my mind throughout the day so that we could be fully present.
