Global Influence

These longtime surfers and adventure seekers have traveled the globe for their respective jobs and for pleasure. The design of the wedding had to include global influences from their travels and also throw a nod to their nautical beginnings together.

Neutral Colors

Against the backdrop of the beautiful Spanish-influenced Adamson House, we brought in a color palette of neutrals and blues influenced by the Mediterranean, textiles and tent structures with a nod to Morocco and customs from Turkey.

Sustainable Wedding Ideas

When considering the event design, sustainable and reusability were very important concepts for the couple. Edible fruits, like cascading grapes, and reusable succulents were incorporated into the centerpieces to reduce floral waste. Reclaimed driftwood was incorporated into vignettes at the ceremony. Invitations and paper goods were printed on recycled paper and wood. To reduce paper, the dinner menus were etched into the glass panels of the centerpiece lanterns.

From One Bride To Another

From the bride: One of the biggest compliments I received about my wedding day was from our friend’s new girlfriend (they have since fallen in love and are now married) who told me that even though she didn’t know us, she felt the intense love that we had for our family and friends and felt that the wedding was more for everyone instead of just the couple. She said that we were incredibly inclusive of everyone in attendance and that it was a celebration for all and not just for the bride and groom.
