We are huge fans of seeing a couple's pets make cameo appearances on their wedding day but Nick and Danielle's wedding went a step further. As a Pet Coordinator, Danielle knew she wanted puppies at her wedding day, but not just any puppies, she teamed up with a local shelter and had adoptable puppies crash their wedding reception. These sweet little faces really brought a smile to the faces of wedding guests and every single one of them was adopted by the end of the night! Now there's something to wag your tail about.

My husband, Nick and I met when we were 14 years old on Cape Cod. We became very close friends only seeing each other during the summertime. About 7 years later, Nick and I started dating. After college, I moved up to college to pursue a Masters in Education and continue my relationship with Nick. Nick proposed 4 years after we started dating on the same beach where we met all those years ago. Of course, our 2 dogs were there when he got down on one knee.
Once we were engaged I had a pretty good idea of the vendors that I wanted to help make our dream wedding come true. Working in the wedding industry introduced me to some amazing vendors that I am lucky enough to call my friends.
Finding the perfect dress was not as easy! I knew I wanted lace but didn’t know where to begin. I ended up driving to Connecticut to a little boutique called Everthine Bridal and found the most amazing dress by Rebecca Schoneveld called the Marni gown. I later decided that I wanted to have two looks for the day so I went to another local boutique in Mashpee called Head Over Heels. The owner, Christine was able to have one of her dress designers custom make an overskirt for me and it was absolutely stunning.
We chose to have our wedding at the Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod for our reception location on August 3rd, 2019. I had a clear vision of what I wanted my day to look like and a style in mind but wanted to hire a planner to be my sounding board throughout the planning process. I knew right away that Jessica from Jessica Hennessey Weddings would be the perfect fit for us! She immediately jumped on board and sent us designs for the overall style, look, and feel of our day. Helped us round out our vendor team, managed the logistics and was so easy to work with!
Lauren Dobish was our photographer for our day Lauren is not only an amazing photographer but an amazing friend as well. I have worked with Lauren on countless projects before getting engaged and knew immediately that she had to be our wedding photographer. Lauren wrote up a timeline that covered every little detail from our day and captured the most gorgeous pictures!
Some of our favorite elements of the day include a custom, 24-ft, 200-glass champagne escort card wall designed and created by Beach Plum Floral. Jill seriously went above and beyond in helping to make our wedding day come to life. Not only was the custom wall beyond anything I could have ever dreamed but the entire floral design of the day was mind-blowing!
I own a pet coordination company called "For The Love Of Paws" where I help couples incorporate their pets into their weddings. It was very important to my husband and me that we had both of our dogs be a part of our wedding. Since both of our pups were adopted from shelters, we wanted to have adoptable puppies be a part of our day as well! We surprised our wedding party and guests with a litter of adoptable puppies from Great Dog Rescue New England. Our goal was to help bring awareness to the rescue organization and get as many pups adopted as possible. I am extremely happy to say that they were in fact, all adopted!
