Boho-Glam Bridal Editorial with Pops of Color in California

Inspired by elegance and bohemian vibes, Blu Events and Jeanette Ennis Photography dreamt up this bridal editorial to capture the feeling of modern romance for our bride. This boho-glam shoot took place in a small studio in Tehachapi, California. The team was inspired to offset a white studio space by adding bright pops of color tones and citrus fruit to the beautiful velvet blue sofa and rattan chair.

For this shoot, Matinae Design Studio wanted to capture the vibrant, playful, and genial feel of summer. Different shades of paper that were inspired by a beautiful sunset were contrasted with deep indigo blue accents and ink. She incorporated bright florals with citrus fruits reminiscent of the perfect cocktail one might enjoy on a warm day. The mix of typography kept the designs modern and relaxed while still remaining sophisticated. Curved yellow designs were created to mimic the shape of the sun. The suite was tied together with a "xoxo" die cut accent that added a bit of dimension and ended up being my favorite detail of this design!”

The tulle and lace from our gown was the perfect feminine and romantic match with the Bella Belle shoes that we had envisioned from Eleanors Bridal. The bride wore her hair in a classic low-bun styled by ILash Dolls Makeup but then let her hair down when it was time to relax for some drinks!
