Choosing a wedding design can be challenging, especially if you're not one of those couples that gravitate towards colorful, romantic color palettes. Thankfully the modern minimalist trend is still going strong and wedding pros are finding new ways to incorporate the trend into their own aesthetic. We love this take on a monochromatic color palette because it's still soft and playful and leans into natural elements instead of the more common industrial chic look. From the matte black farm chairs and the free-spirited florals to the balloon wall installation, this styled shoot will help you visualize your own timeless wedding from start to finish.
Events By Fran designed this shoot to show couples how romantic a monochromatic color palette can be. There couldn't have been a more perfect setting for this shoot than Spanish Hills Country Club which is already decked out in black and white. These lush floral arrangements by Tangled Lotus are perfectly classic and add an air of whimsy to the overall design. Kelsey Rinaldi Photography captured every last detail from the lovely modern signage and stationery by The 84th Hour to the ceremony set up so that couples can envision what every element would look like if they decide to go this route with their big day. For couples dreaming of something classic, yet ultra-cool for their special day–look no further. This styled shoot, organized by Events By Fran, is a voguish and romantic take on the traditional black & white color palette. The backdrop for this glorious affair was the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, California. The ceremony site offered a panoramic mountain view, which created a modern fairytale mood when paired with a simple rounded arch, matte black seating, and abundant florals and candles. Inside, the space was a contemporary Gatsby's dream with geometric architecture and vintage-inspired fixtures, with natural light pouring in from all directions. Mirroring the lush feeling of the ceremony, the reception tablescape featured black flatware and dishes, classy crystal, and blossoming roses, hydrangeas, and poppy anemones, expertly arranged by Tangled Lotus.
Our styled bride wore a silky wedding gown with long puff sleeves and a ruched, off-the-shoulder reception gown, both from Ever After Bridal, and a floral-inspired headpiece to add a little bit of sparkle. The groom donned a timeless Friar Tux black wedding tux and bowtie. In a toast to love and the stunning atmosphere, the couple enjoyed a glass of champagne and cut a sleek black accented cake, designed by D'Lectable D'Lights, in front of a roaring fireplace.
The simple elegance of the day was topped off with a fabulously fun all-white balloon photo backdrop–sure to keep guests entertained all night and provide photos that will keep the couple smiling for decades to come. The many details of this modern glam shoot were beautifully captured by Kelsey Rinaldi Photography and made possible with contributions from many talented vendors.
