A Romantic Rooftop Wedding Against The Chicago Skyline
Now, this is how to pull off a romantic wedding in the city! Beth and Matt had a gorgeous rooftop wedding with a killer view of the glistening Chicago skyline. Their shared love for Chicago's rooftops was the obvious choice for their September wedding, and we have to say it turned out amazing!
With such a spectacular backdrop, Soiree Weddings & Events designed their big day with a minimalist summer chic vibe that included white blooms, greenery, and pops of gold. View this gorgeous day below + in the full gallery captured by Studio This Is.
up on the rooftop
From Studio This Is: It's no secret that heaven is found on a rooftop in Chicago in September (not now when it's 5 degrees though!). Nobody knows this better than Beth and Matt who love the city's rooftops and planned their wedding to take place against the skyline.
minimalist summer chic
"Summer chic" was their theme so they kept the details minimalist and classic. Both their Jewish ceremony and reception took place on the rooftop even though we narrowly escaped a thunderstorm just before dinner. The skyline stole the show as the sunset and the city lights came on. Getting to shoot a hora against city lights was such a fun opportunity!
