At its heart, a wedding is the celebration of two families becoming one. Yes, the couple should be at the center of that celebration, but it is important to celebrate the things that make each person in the couple unique, like their style, their hobbies, and their heritage. Whether it's in the dress, the calligraphy, or the ceremony, weddings are a great way to introduce each side of the family to new cultural traditions. How you incorporate your culture into your wedding is totally up to you and your partner, but this beautiful fusion photoshoot provides some awesome inspiration!
These airy photos by Anokiart Photography bring a modern edge to this inspiration shoot. Debra Meadows worked together with this amazing team to create a seamless fusion of two cultures and their wedding traditions. Meadows Events created all of these incredible florals, including a metal and floral arch that you absolutely need to see! You'd never believe this venue, Forme Los Angeles, was once an old film set. Details, romance, tradition, and love blend together in this stylish, modern Indian fusion styled shoot. Dreamy peach hues, bold pinks, and balanced, earthy neutrals set the tone for this joyful wedding designed by Meadows Events. Design-forward decor by Provenance Rentals, elegant invitation suites and stationery designed and styled by Atelier Azure, and playful, unique additions like balloons and cotton candy by Simply Wild Party are what sets this shoot apart.
Anokiart Photography’s lens delicately captures their romantic story at Forme Los Angeles, a contemporary, open-air film and television lot turned venue; the perfect spot for a chic event. Sculptural walls, high ceilings, and garage doors serve as an idyllic backdrop for a modern Angelino couple looking to tie the knot and celebrate in style.
Our fairytale fusion bride and groom hail from different backgrounds but their love knows no bounds. Los Angeles is a city that draws diversity and culture; this wedding is a snapshot of the unity of two dynamic people and that unity is crucial to the core of this shoot. Our bride is Italian-American; while the groom’s family is from Northern India. The bride embraces the groom’s culture and it is woven throughout the shoot, including her stunning peach lehenga, designed by Kynah Bridal, authentic ceremonial mementos and gifts, and jewelry. While the groom dons a more contemporary, elegant black tux. This modern bride welcomed her Italian-American side and changed into an elegant reception gown designed by L'ezu Atelier. Both looks would be incomplete without beauty and fashion-forward hair styling by Emily Lynn + Co.
For the ceremony, Meadows Events enhanced the unique copper pipe arch with lush greenery and colorful peach and apricot roses. Plush, velvet salmon-colored seats are underneath for the couple. Meanwhile, at the modern, white farm tables, stationery created and styled by Atelier Azure showcases the elegance of traditional Indian weddings with pops of golds, pretty scripts, and embellished designs on menus and place cards. Florals in hues of peach, pink, orange, and apricot in earthy clay pots, designed by Meadows Events, line the center of the tables. Watercolor-like, luxury tabletop decor, by Greystone Table, elevates the reception look. Guests then relax at two fun lounges curated and styled by Provenance Rentals: one with an abundance of luxe pillows and one micro-lounge as colorful as the canvas of the shoot.
Opting for a more unique dessert instead of cake, the two expressed their silly side with a cotton candy vendor, Simply Wild Party. What guest could resist yummy, pink clouds of cotton candy decorated with the couple's own branded charms?
Anokiart Photography perfectly captured this celebration of two very special people and their cultures as they unite in this diverse wedding. Elegant, yet playful, modern, yet traditional–a sign of our changing landscape and a peek into what the future holds for contemporary couples.
