Beautiful white decor sparkles under the August sun as Jonny and Caity recite their vows and they are nothing but smiles as they walk back up the aisle under a shower of white flower petals. You really don't want to miss this fabulous farmhouse wedding day because everything about it is absolutely breathtaking.
We have some of our favorite images of the day below, but that is far from all the photos that were taken of this happy couple's happy day. We have a full gallery dedicated to Caity and Jonny's wedding day thanks to Kaylee Chelsea Photography, so be sure to stop by and take a closer look.
Jonny interviewed Caity for a position at a Camp. They both were not fond of each other from the first meeting - but after a few weeks, Caity called her mom to say the "mean guy" was quickly becoming one of her favorite people. They now run Youth Camps in Hume Lake and travel around the world together.
Caity and Jonny wanted a calm, family and friend-filled wedding in San Luis Obispo. It was the perfect California sunny day in August. They decided to save their first look so the anticipation all day was surrounded by their closest friends (11 groomsmen and 10 bridesmaids total).
Caity put her wedding dress on with her two sisters and sweet mom. All the bridesmaids were excited to see her completed look (a BHLDN Gown with simple thick strapped heels and a half up half down hairstyle - with loose beachy waves). Caity had a first look with her dad - and there were tears and so much joy seeing one another. Jonny was tucked away in a beach bungalow where he spent most of the morning hanging out with his closest friends and family.
Their ceremony was sunny and windy - with the mountains as their background. The parents were overjoyed to watch them share their vows. The ceremony was focused on the covenant they were making, taking communion as their first step as being a husband and wife, and asking the guests to pray over them.
The bridesmaids wore a creamy pink with romantic flowing sleeves. The groom and groomsmen went for a classic black suit and tie to complete the classy/casual look.
During cocktail hour the sun was bright and all the guests enjoyed a large cheese board just outside the barn. The bride and groom snuck out during dinner time to catch the most beautiful bit of sunlight between the mountains.
Her reception design was a simple farmhouse look with lots of greenery, candles and spray roses. Jonny (the groom) is known for his dance moves and danced so hard he ripped his pants. The entire night was filled with kind words, lots of food (personalized donuts)and dancing until the very end. The dance floor was packed for hours.
