The Noelle hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville is a beloved landmark of the city. Its timeless allure has been drawing people in since 1929. Our aim for this styled shoot was to keep the classic feel of this city gem and to showcase love’s wintertime magic there. Mason and Hannah are a local married couple, truly in love and a perfect fit for the scene.
Gipe Photography and Elizabeth Events had been on the search for the perfect venue in Nashville for their vision of a modern, romantic, styled shoot. Tyler of Gipe Photography visited Noelle and knew it was the perfect place.
Contributing vendors were local with mutual awe for the location. We hope brides and grooms are inspired to keep making history at this romantic wedding venue, which can be revisited as an endearing hotel stay for years to come.
After talking through ideas and the overall vision for the shoot, Elizabeth Events dreamed up a mood board where bright colors, florals, and the Sarah Seven dress were the focal points. Modern, minimal, with seasonal pops of color, every detail was thoughtful from the florals to the cake.
Annie, the owner of Elizabeth Events, wanted to showcase how to incorporate color in wedding design while keeping it modern and classy. She hired Southern Events Party Rental, a company she works closely with. She especially loved their velvet linens paired with their velvet chairs.
With the focus on color, florals were another important design element for Annie. She teamed up with Alina from Petals & Fields to accomplish her vision. They talked about a few big ideas and then she let Alina run with the design.
The main focal points were the ceremony columns that were repurposed into the reception design, as well as the table centerpiece and bouquet.
Another major design focal point was the Capri wedding gown by Sarah Seven. This dress embodies a chic, romantic vibe. It’s not your everyday wedding dress and was an intentional choice for the shoot.
Elizabeth Events also wanted to focus on the details, and one of Annie’s favorite detail design elements is calligraphy. Brides love the detail shots from their wedding day, so we wanted to showcase a handmade paper and calligraphy suite from White Ink Calligraphy. We also incorporated acrylic into the design with the sign, as well as place cards.
Who doesn’t love a great cake? We wanted to be sure to incorporate the pops of color with a minimalistic design here too. Baked in Nashville created a triple-tiered stunning work of art. We hope it shows couples they can have a modern design while incorporating color into their cake.
Last but not least, Leanna Davis brought our hair and makeup dreams to life with fun yet classy hair and makeup artistry.
Every vendor is from the Nashville area and contributed thoughtful details into each aspect of their design for this romantic winter shoot. We hope brides and grooms find inspiration here as they plan the day of their dreams.
