How To Have A Marie Antoinette Wedding
This Over-The-Top Styled Shoot Would Make Marie Antoinette Jealous
This bridal shower inspiration was straight from the gardens of Versailles. On a beautiful June day at Dove Hollow Estate, our modern-day Marie Antoinette, Penelope Austin, was celebrated by her closest family and friends. This bridal shower will have you screaming, "Let them eat cake!" and toasting to love. From custom gift boxes to the butterfly release, no detail was missed.
It's no secret that Marie Antoinette liked to indulge, so true to form, guests were treated to delicacies like champagne, fresh fruit, pastries, and even a croquembouche! The spread was a feast for the eyes, set on a table filled with a mix of found treasures, floral arrangements by Botanical Floristry adorned with pink satin bows, and finished with a sumptuous toile tablecloth.
The bride-to-be always commits to a theme, and this day was no exception. Her bridal looks were classic but still modern and chic.
She started the day in an adorable ruffled camisole and bloomer set paired with paniers as a nod to a time gone by. The bride-to-be later changed into a sage satin corset top with bow shoulder details and a flowing tulle skirt complete with hoops, of course!
She embodied the Queen of France in every aspect, from pink champagne towers to a royal appearance by her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
