The shower was held in Alpine, Utah- my hometown and the most beautiful corner of the Utah Valley, in my uncle's backyard. The location was everything we could have asked for- wooded, secluded, and vibrantly green. We strung lights across the yard that mixed in with the banners, and we hung cheese cloth behind the food table which made for the perfect, light and airy backdrop. The doors under which Lo sat throughout the shower were from my sister's wedding from the previous year. The glass in them is over two hundred years old.
We couldn't have asked for more perfect vendors for the evening. Lori Romney Photography is not only one of our favorite photographers, but has become a close friend of mine. The florist- Floral Design by Erin, is my go-to girl when it comes to flowers and is the one I recommend to all who are in need of beautiful arrangements. I went to high school with our caterer- Dani from The Petite Pastry, who is now a french pastry chef. She provided us with all of the cakes and treats we could ask for. Lo's beautiful crown comes from Miss Stevi Marie on Etsy, who makes some of the most stunning floral crowns I've ever seen. And last but not least, all of the jewelry we wore (aside from Lauren's wedding ring, of course) came from Fifth and Mae- one of the best online shops for dainty, gold jewelry.
