We love the idea of having favors for guests at a bridal shower. Everybody loves a little treat. At Laura's bridal shower all the guests were given shortbread hearts in little white bags tied perfectly with vintage gold string from the Laura's grandmother.
Laura's mother created the craft banner that hung on the beverage table, with juice and champagne for the perfect brunch cocktail. One of our favorite elements on the table were the personalized jam jar cups. Each of the guests name was hand written with a gold pen on a pink heart that had a hole punched through it. They then tied gold and white bakers twine around the glass to make it truly personal. To top it off they had a drink stirrer flags that said, "so getting married" to mix up the champagne cocktails.
As you can see they had quite a bridal shower brunch - french toast with pure maple syrup drizzle, french crepes, raspberry rhubarb muffins, Maryland crab quiche, summer strawberry with whipped cream and brioche au chocolate. For dessert they had French creme with fresh berries and chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. So tasty!
Guests were asked to write their best piece of marriage and wisdom to the bride. The card read, "For wisdom will come into your heart and knowledge with be pleasant to your soul."
