This great DIY celebration at Camarillo Ranch is so captivating because it embraced every inch of the amazing property, and we have to applaud Lukas VanDyke for capturing all the fantastic details. As a wedding planner I have a tendency to lean towards a soft romantic aesthetic. If ocean views are just a stone's throw away - PERFECT - so my hat off to this couple for a job well done in choosing such a wonderful wedding venue.
Camarillo Ranch has several unique architectural features that can be used as a central theme for your wedding design. Each element provides inspiration for a singular theme, or you can combine them to create something that is uniquely you. The Victorian Cottage captures the essence of "vintage." A soft color palette of blush, ecru, and rose embraces the allure of the Victorian Era and will be the perfect backdrop for a vintage wedding.
If you are more inclined to a traditional outdoor celebration, nothing says garden wedding like a lush green rolling lawn bordered by well-manicured bursts of color. The oversized arbor at Camarillo Ranch is ideal for your ceremony; however, a Jazz band or a little dixieland could easily steel the show.
"The Little Red Barn:" The rustic look of the distressed barn has been hitting the pages of wedding magazines and blogs for more than a season now, so if a barn is in your future, this location is perfect. The barn has two story ceilings, lots of lighting, and a loft which will capture incredible photography. The floor space accommodates seating for over 150 guests with a grand dance floor, band, and all the trimmings. I love this property, so many options to explore!
