the color palette: shades of peach and sage
Imagine Events chose the color of the year, peach, and worked with it in all these shades, pairing it with sage green. The color palette was full of life and sweetness at the same time.
a fairytale venue
In an idyllic setting in the heart of Franche-Comté in France, the Bournel estate is a 19th-century neo-Gothic castle. An estate full of charm, with French gardens and a golf course, surrounded by nature, set in a magnificent English-style park.
a custom gown
The wedding dress was custom-made by LL Couture. The designer was inspired by the three key moments of the wedding and created this 3-in-1 mermaid gown with an overskirt and a removable long-sleeved floral lace top. These detachable elements allow the bride to easily change her look for every important moment of the wedding. The look can also be further transformed by switching out the hairstyle and jewelry.
the decor
Bomdia Design wanted the flowers to blend perfectly with the location, so we chose flowers that suited a French garden. For the decor, we used antique golden candlesticks and old keys as escort cards to play on the vintage style of the castle and positioned the tables in a half-round configuration to add a touch of modernity that suited the rounded courtyard. The choice of tableware and color palette added a touch of freshness and softness to the entire decoration.
the cake
To add to the whimsical design, Gourmandi Ose created a towering abstract cake with a levitating tier and sculptural sugarwork. The cake was displayed on a modern gold stand and got its very own floral arrangement.
