The historic estate provided the perfect backdrop with its lush gardens and ornate architecture, creating a dreamy setting for their vision to come to life. Cairnwood Estate, a magnificent Gilded Age mansion located in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, holds a rich history that added an extra layer of allure to the editorial shoot. Built in 1895 by the renowned architect Carrère and Hastings, the estate is a masterpiece of Beaux-Arts architecture, featuring grandiose marble fireplaces, intricate woodwork, and stunning stained-glass windows. Originally owned by the prominent Pitcairn family, Cairnwood Estate was a hub of lavish parties and gatherings, attracting the elite of society with its opulent beauty. Today, the estate stands as a testament to a bygone era of elegance and sophistication, making it the perfect setting to pay homage to the timeless charm of the past.
Via Sketch Studio created a soft and romantic invitation suite thanks to light pink envelopes, delicate watercolor designs, and floral inserts. A gold wax seal with shiny pink ribbon tied the whole look together.
With a flowing dress from Berta Bridal, and a fun and feminine feather fashion gown from Marchesa, intricate floral arrangements, and ethereal makeup, the bride was a celebration of all things lovely and enchanting, a true ode to the magic of spring. To complement her look, the groom wore a classic black suit from The Black Tux with a black bowtie and white pocket square.

For the shoot, the ceremony space was set up in front of the fireplace, creating a homey atmosphere that was elevated with large, asymmetrical white, green, and blush floral installations by Feel Good Floral. The rug and wainscoting helped to create an intimate feel for the event space.
The vendors incorporated figs, pears, and more as a Mediterranean-inspired centerpiece surprise. Colorful patterned plates and delicate florals in muted lavenders, yellows, and greens complemented the colors of the fruit and stood out against the neutral backdrop of the venue. Combining patterns by choosing a stamped tablecloth added a modern spin on an otherwise classic design.
