Inspired by all the colors of a summer day, this wedding puts a lovely twist on a popular color palette. From the bride's chic minimalist crepe gown and the groom's textured blue suit to the bridesmaids' mix-and-match printed dresses, this couple used fashion to set a more modern tone for their outdoor wedding. We also love how Randi Roberts Photography played with the shadows in these editorial-style photos. Keep scrolling for even more inspo and to hear all about this beautiful day.

This Traditional Denver Wedding Went Modern with a Floating Cake
A “Modern” Wedding that’s not Monochromatic–it can be Done!
We could not have asked for more beautiful weather for Erin and Cameron’s garden-style summer wedding. I truly just can’t get over how gorgeous the sun was coming through the thick green trees at their venue. So many pockets of warm sun and glowing greens and blues–perfect for their garden aesthetic wedding vision!
These two are very laid back and just wanted to be around friends and family on their big day. So it was super fitting that the girls hung out in PJ’s all morning and the guys got ready while watching football. The venue at Ramsey Golf & Country Club is a perfect summer venue with its indoor/outdoor vibes.
We really leaned into the intense sun during their portraits with some intimate moments under the veil with the sun creating a glow around them. The contrast of the light also really brought out the details of Erin’s dress and pleated veil. Cameron’s blue suit also felt so perfect against the rich blue skies.
They were a little nervous about being the center of attention for their ceremony. To ease those butterflies, they were really excited to do a first look. It allowed their playful personalities to shine through and we even had some guest appearances from Erin's dad and their dog Dewey! While we were doing their engagement session, I joked that sometimes tequila helps ease the nerves during photoshoots and they could not agree more! I thought it would be a funny little surprise to show up with tequila mini bottles for them on the wedding day and let’s just say… it was thoroughly enjoyed!
It wouldn’t be that dreamy garden aesthetic without a sun-drenched ceremony and the scent of beautiful florals enveloping you and all your guests. The ceremony was so sweet with Dewey coming down the aisle as the goodest flower boy and Erin sharing laughs with her dad the whole way down the aisle. The blue and white florals by Flowers by Diane were the perfect choice to bring out the blue skies and create a light contrast amongst the rich greens surrounding them. The bridesmaids also wore the most stunning mismatched styles of that same light blue.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom joined everyone for a lively cocktail hour with the sun setting behind the trees. Around the cocktail and reception areas were custom calligraphed and hand-illustrated signage made by Erin in gold vintage frames. She even did all the dinner menus! The handmade touch left my jaw on the floor and was the perfect complement to the organic garden vibes.
Once everyone filtered in from the setting sun outside, the reception started with a loud and energetic entrance by Erin and Cameron along with their wedding party and parents. They truly had the best group of people with them because the vibes on the dance floor were immediately high! Even during dinner, there were a few stragglers on the dance floor! Everyone, from the couple’s parents and grandparents to their whole slew of friends, enjoyed the party.
