Polo and I met when we were teenagers, more than 30 years ago. We fell in love in a Chilean winter. When we met, we felt "true love" for the first time. We wrote countless letters to each other and for reasons of fate, we had to separate. We lived our lives - good lives - but we were not complete. There was always a "red thread" that united us... and 30 years later we can finally complete ourselves. We put together our good lives to generate a wonderful present and a splendid future together with our three children: Sebastián, Agustina, and Juan Pablo.

He proposed during a dinner experience with a traveling chef at a boutique hotel in Coyoacan in Mexico City. It was a dinner for 7-8 couples and the whole thing was a setup made by Volopapilio and designed by Polo. In the end, everyone was hired actors whose mission was to make me believe that it was a traveling restaurant, but the reality was that Polo was asking me to marry him. In the end, everyone stood up, took out guitars, flutes, violins, sang opera to me, Polo knelt down and gave me my ring and there were fireworks! And then, everyone disappeared! It was just us and a butler and the back house to ourselves, it was a dream weekend.

searching for the essence of san miguel

Since I was little I came to San Miguel and I always loved the city. The cobbled streets, the beautiful doors, the churches, it's such a unique place. We moved to live in San Miguel and we lived very happily for almost 2 years. We spent Christmas together there and Polo fell in love with San Miguel–the people, the colors, the community that exists, it is a magical place.

We searched until we found the ideal place to get married. We wanted something surrounded by life and plants but that also had San Miguel in its essence; its streets and doors, its magic, the bells of its churches, that at dusk the herons pass by on their way to the dam, and when we visited Casa Cien it was an instant connection! The rest was added day by day, until we achieved that space full of details that accompanied dreams, love, enormous happiness, and endless memories that Polo and I were looking forward to sharing with our close friends and family on the big day.

Their family and friends joined them for a candlelit reception full of good music, good food, and good company. Jewel-tone floral arrangements by Flor de Lima set the color palette for the evening and the crawling vines on the venue's stone walls served as part of the decor for the lush garden theme.
