When this couple came to Plan On It Events + Design, they had a vision for an intimate wedding with an atmosphere that felt lovely, relaxed, and inclusive. This full weekend celebration took place in the hills of West Austin amongst the live oak trees and sunshine. The Wayback Cafe & Cottages was a stunning garden backdrop for a micro guest list to have major fun!

Enchanting wildflower outdoor ceremony

Floral design by By Maggie Peterson set the stage for a lavish botanical ceremony. When it came to design, the bride envisioned a day full of floral that felt cohesive with the style of The Wayback property. Plan On It Events + Design came up with a distinctly bohemian tea party styled day complete with a touch of southern charm. From the soft palate of whites, greens, and blues to the garden style floral, this wedding design felt right at home on this property.

Abundance of kid-friendly activities

What sets this wedding apart is the amount of kids in attendance - nearly half of the 37 person guest list were children 14 and under! With such a young crowd to accommodate, Plan On It Events + Design incorporated lots of kid-friendly experiences into every part of the day. Lawn games at cocktail hour, a specialty mocktail, and tambourine place cards were just a few of the custom details.

Custom tambourine place cards

One of the most unique place cards we've seen is this tambourine place setting! The genuine, playable instrument featured gorgeous script of each guest's name and a blue linen bow. By the end of the evening, all of the guests were on the floor with their musical instruments dancing the night away.

To add a sweet ending to this timeless day, Feathers and Frosting crafted this vintage inspired wedding cake covered in ruffled layers. The topper was the cutest custom touch!
