Nicole and Thomas's path to the alter was truly one of kismet! Growing up, Nicole had a neighbor and childhood friend named Jack who ended up attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he met a classmate named Thomas. The two became bandmates and best friends, and when Nicole moved to Boston for work, Jack introduced her to Thomas. They became friends, which led to more, and before they knew it, Nicole and Thomas had moved to Austin and he was proposing on his family farm! They held their wedding with the help of Verve Austin, and captured by Caroline's Collective, in that same location the following year. Thomas’s family ranch provided much of the inspiration for this wedding because the land innately provided the charm of a glowing fall season. This homestead in Round Rock, Texas was the perfect match for the couple’s wedding day vision. Decor was focused on being cozy and inviting. Warm sunset hues embraced the fall season with yellows, oranges, and pinks. Florals by West Bank Flower Market were everywhere, draped throughout the tent ceiling and falling from the tables to the grass. Velvet table linens and couches coordinated with the color palette and welcomed guests to mingle and relax in a comfortable, yet elevated setting.

One thing that Caroline's Collective planned perfectly was incorporating photography taken right when the sun dipped below the horizon at sunset. This effect is called "blue hour" and has all the appeal of those typical "golden hour" portraits, but with a unique cool-toned background.
While placing your custom neon wedding sign on a photo op is so cute, another option is to place it as a focal point during cocktail hour, or on over the entrance to your reception or after party! Nicole and Thomas chose to place theirs over an entrance, but in an area that still created the perfect understated detail for their comfortable cocktail hour lounge set-up.
Favorite moments throughout the day included a vintage airstream trailer bar, cocktail napkins featuring the couple's beloved pets, and Nicole’s luxurious bridal jumpsuit. The reception tent was lit with string lights that created an amber glow among the green vines.
Looking for a cute, yet unique way to include your pets into your wedding reception? Consider putting line sketches of them onto your appetizer/cocktail napkins, like these by The Essential Market! You can even color coordinate your glassware to complement the custom napkins like Thomas and Nicole did.
Sequined cowboy hats marked the party-point of the evening in a colorful, light-hearted array of shimmer! Ultimately, Nichole and Thomas closed the night by driving away in a vintage Ford Mustang through gorgeous fountains of fireworks courtesy of Big Dog Pyro.
