For their special wedding day, Sera and Noel aimed to create a wedding atmosphere that authentically reflected their unique dynamic: A combination of woodsy allure, relaxed ambiance, and traditional elements. Their chosen venue, Calamigos, effortlessly encompassed the woodsy vibe with its abundant trees, refreshing air, cascading waterfall, and an inviting indoor reception area featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. With the help of Cluster Events and captured on film by Purity Weddings, this idyllic setting provided the ideal backdrop for their celebration, immersing guests in an enchanting ambiance that perfectly complemented the couple's vision.
Bride Sera chose to wear a sophisticated Jane Hill dress for the occasion, which exuded a timeless and elegant aesthetic, perfectly complementing her overall look, courtesy of Meg O'Hare Beauty, Emma Willis, and Mane Addicts.
The couple's choice of a white and green color palette proved to be a brilliant decision, as it flawlessly complemented the overall aesthetic of the wedding day and perfectly harmonized with the enchanting backdrop of Calamigos Ranch. The pure, serene white hues added an element of elegance and timelessness, while the vibrant green tones highlighted nature's beauty and brought a refreshing touch to the celebration.
As guests arrived at the wedding, they received a warm welcome with two special drink options. Sera's Italian heritage was represented by a refreshing limoncello, while Noel's Hungarian roots introduced guests to pálinka, a traditional fruit brandy enjoyed as an aperitif, digestif, shooter, and even herbal medicine. Pálinka holds a significant place in Noel's family history, known for its strong character and fruity undertones.
During the cocktail hour, the atmosphere started to come alive as guests mingled and enjoyed their drinks. The refreshing ocean breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean added a sense of calmness to the air. The newlyweds' signature drinks - the classic Old Fashioned and vibrant Paloma - further enhanced the celebratory mood, ensuring that everyone was in high spirits and enjoying the festivities.
The couple envisioned their wedding to highlight the essence of their relationship—a blend of natural serenity, a laid-back atmosphere, and timeless traditions. Florist The Little Branch skillfully brought this vision to life. Throughout the venue, beautiful floral arrangements adorned the tables, graced the aisle, embellished the sweetheart table, and created a stunning vibe around the champagne wall. The meticulous attention to detail in these florals added a touch of elegance and natural beauty to the celebration.
The guitar-violin duet played emotional renditions of contemporary songs throughout the evening, including Coldplay's "Yellow" during the seated portion that took place in front of a waterfall. The recessional had everyone energized with Natalie Cole's "This Will Be." The couple's grand entrance featured fun dance moves and dollar bill launchers, while the first dance to "Thinking Out Loud" was a sweet tribute to the couple's love. Groom Noel joined the band, Lucky Devils Band, on guitar for "Sweet Home Alabama" and later rocked the dance floor with Blink-182's "All the Small Things" and "Are You Gonna Be My Girl." The celebration continued all night with hit after hit, creating an unforgettable experience for the bride, groom, and their guests!
