Camille and Robert got engaged a little over a year of dating after meeting online - little did they know they had crossed each other's paths many times before becoming a couple. The pair had unknowingly attended the same preschool, summer camp, and K-12 school their entire lives until attending different colleges.
"Robert is 5 years older, so we hadn’t known each other but discovered endless ways our paths have crossed with mutual connections. We like to think we unknowingly must have walked past each other dozens of times throughout our lives." - Bride, Camille
Robert proposed to Camille after 10 months of dating, on a walk with their dog Belle at their favorite park. The bride loved that the proposal was private and informal, perfect for them!
The Dallas sweethearts chose to have their destination wedding in Cabo after they fell in love during their first trip traveling there together. The couple chose Zadún (a Ritz-Carlton Reserve) as their venue because of the beautiful property and atmosphere, and their impeccable customer service that made their guests and them feel like royalty!
Camille and Robert's bridal party combined bright, vibrant bridesmaids' dresses with classic monochrome groom and groomsmen suits. For her bridesmaids, Camille gave the ladies the color palette of red, orange, and pink to choose from; in any style they felt most comfortable and beautiful wearing. We love this idea!
The combination of Robert's white tux and the groomsmen's black suits contrasted handsomely with the more vibrant bridesmaid outfits.
Camille and Robert's ceremony on Zadún's oceanfront property was a stunning production! For their wedding theme the bride wanted to evoke joy, color, fun, warmth, and love - all the things that Cabo inspires for the couple. It's easy to see from the gorgeous design by Amy Abbott Events that the wedding completely nailed Camille's vision!
The unique U-shaped wedding ceremony layout and design was created to evoke a sense of intimacy and community among the guests. "Our goal was to create an environment where everyone felt a sense of community and connection. The flowers on the walking path and on the chuppah felt like we were in a secluded garden" - Bride, Camille
The floral pathway & chuppah design (as well as reception florals) were created by Pina Cate, voted one of the Top Wedding Florists in the World by Harper's Bazaar.
The couple incorporated Jewish traditions including this gorgeous floral chuppah! The guests were given yarmulkes with the couple's wedding date engraved inside.
They also incorporated their family in their ceremony. They used the groom's late uncle's tallis draped to create the roof of their chuppah; the groom's sister Kathryn officiated their beautiful ceremony.
"One strong thread that bonds Robert and me together is our emphasis and love for family, so it felt extremely important and meaningful for us to have a family member conduct our ceremony. Kathryn did an incredible job leading an intimate and meaningful ceremony- exactly how we wanted it to be and feel." - Bride, Camille
Their first trip to Cabo was where Camille and Robert fell in love, so it was only fitting to celebrate there as newlyweds! After their colorful and heartwarming ceremony, they took golden hour portraits with their photographer, Taryn Baxter Photography.
The bride's stunning and unique wedding dress is from designer Mira Zwillinger. Camille wore her mother's diamond earrings as her something borrowed!
While the bride and groom enjoyed sneaking away for photos, guests were welcomed to cocktail hour up at the resort. The biggest splurge for the couple was the production of this fabulous beachside reception set up. The flow of events allowed for them to surprise their friends and family with this fabulous reception!
Their cocktail hour menu included their spin on a margarita named after the bride: a Camarita!
The guests' escort cards were such a fun and unique touch. "We used local artisan glass-blown color-coordinated hearts to display the escort cards. We wanted guests to have something special to take home and remember the amazing weekend. We hoped to create a special place in their hearts for Cabo, just as Robert and I experienced on our very first trip together." - Bride, Camille
The pink and orange floral design is giving us major Barbie in Cabo vibes! The tropical bohemian details perfectly matched the couple's desire for the reception to exude a sense of joy and excitement.
Camille and Robert's reception featured rentals from Baja Boutique Rental Company, Bazaar, and Warehouse Rentals. Production was done by Stage Pro.

"Since the reception was on the beach, I wanted the table décor to enhance the natural beauty of the beach. I wanted the tables to look playful and fun, so we opted for colorful hand-painted patterned plates and place settings that exuded the amazing energy of Cabo. The menus were personalized to each guest and offered a coordinating pop of color. The flower arrangements on the tables were colorful and substantial but not distracting. Taking a step back to admire the flowers, table décor, and glowing candles made me feel like I was in a dream." - Bride, Camille
To end out their incredible ceremony and reception, Camille and Robert had a candlelit first dance under the stars. Camille later changed into metallic blue cowboy boots for her something blue with a special note sewn inside from Robert that she waited to read until their wedding day.
The newlyweds blew everyone away with the surprise of spectacular fireworks during their first dance! The fireworks were designed by Cabo Fireworks.
