A fresh start to their happily ever after, Carly and Sam decided to move to Costa Rica and they obvi wanted to share their new home with all of their family and friends. And what could be better than a Costa Rican beach wedding? Cue the baby cow (not an exaggeration!). From unexpected cameos from various furry friends (plural!) to the tropical twinkle light reception, this wedding just makes us smile.
Red Velvet Weddings helped this adventurous couple plan a dream destination wedding that their whole family could enjoy–even their grandparents. And they pulled it all off for $50K! When they found Villa Punto de Vista, they knew it was "the one" right away. Not only is it GORGEOUS, it's accessible for everyone which was a MUST. Art|Flower created all of the florals for this beautiful wedding like the stunning ceremony arch that framed the beach view perfectly and even the flower crown for the baby cow!!! It's clear that Sylvia Guardia Photography had fun taking these photos, you can feel the joy through the screen! This couple of digital nomads decided to move to Costa Rica to enjoy the breeze, ocean, and the Pura Vida lifestyle, once engaged they knew they needed to introduce their new home to their loved ones, but where? Finding the perfect location took us a couple of months since they already lived in paradise (Santa Teresa Beach) but access to the location was one of their priorities since grandparents were making the trip, and that's how we found Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio, the perfect beach rainforest to celebrate their love.
Then we finally got to plan their fabulous wedding! The vibe: glam and chic...at the beach. I know, sounds amazing, and indeed it was. As a planner the most important thing is always incorporating their passions as a couple and individuals in every little detail, like a tequila place card to have a group shot together with Don Julio 1942 before dinner (I know, wild!). But, that's the way two tequila lovers start a party. Then there were the couple's portraits with a baby cow for a bride that loves them so much that she became pescatarian years ago (this one was a surprise that her now husband and I planned for her). And what about having their fur babies as part of the bridal party? Suits and everything!
Carly and Sam's deep love was incredible, all day we were surrounded by the intensity of it. The gift exchange was adorable, the bride surprised her groom with a James Bond watch (yep, limited edition) and she got a stunning diamond necklace in return.
Bursting with greenery, pink roses, and pampas grass, the floral arch waisted at the end of a beautifully symmetrical aisle. The guests took their seats, then watched as Carly graced the aisle in a beautiful lace mermaid gown.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the stunning reception space. A canopy of hanging flowers and twinkle lights danced overhead while the happy couple and their loved ones partied the night away.
