Kati & Peter's love story began like most modern couples: via a dating app. It was love at first date, during which Kati fell in love with Peter, and Peter fell in love with Kati and her beloved dogs. At sunset on Mount Adams overlooking the city of Cincinnati, Peter proposed to Kati, and the rest was history!

Honey Designs Jewelry helped create the perfect custom engagement ring

Peter wanted to begin this special process working with Chelsea of Honey Designs Jewelry to create the perfect ring for Kati. Kati had a history with Chelsea as one of her contracted ring and proposal photographers, so she had already gotten to experience many rings from the other side of numerous proposals and was beyond excited to one day get engaged herself.

A Southwestern-inspired lounge set-up created a cozy, picture-perfect proposal moment

Peter came up with a plan for a beautiful sunset proposal at Mount Adams overlooking the city of Cincinnati that could include Rocket Dog and Rogue, Kati's Instagram famous pups - talk about cuteness overload! At Peter's chosen location, Chelsea and Emily of Electric Love designed a Southwestern-inspired lounge set up complete with margaritas, flowers by Tracey Rae Flower Shop, and personal photos, all overlooking the city.

Friends and loved ones were a part of the special moment via video blessings

Kati and Peter started with drinks at the Mexican restaurant where their first date took place, followed by a sunset dog walk detour where Peter proceeded to outfit Kati with Airpods and show her videos of all of the important people in their lives giving him their blessing to ask Kati for her hand in marriage.

A moment this exciting called for margaritas and a celebratory dinner!

Mackenzie of MKF Photo (and one of Kati's wedding photographer friends) was able to capture this special moment for the couple. And in case you're worried, the dogs approved! Katie and Peter celebrated their engagement with margaritas and ended the night with dinner amongst their closest friends.
