Liz and Michael's Chicago wedding brought us right back to the Roaring 20's with an art deco chic theme that embraced all things colorful! Jewel tones of fuchsia, emerald, and sapphire were infused throughout their florals and decor, and accents like rich ruby velvet linens and the couple's classic style created the perfect vintage touches to emphasize their theme.

The couple made sure to incorporate classic elements into their attire, whether it was the classic black bow tie for the groom, or the stunning bow-backed dress for the bride. Liz wore a pair of the popular Loeffler Randall shoes, and paired deep jewel tones with lighter classic pastels within her bouquet to create a timeless yet fun feel.
Thoughtful wedding baskets welcomed guests from near and far, settling them in for a fabulous weekend in Chicago. The baskets featured the couple's favorite items, as well as some quintessential Chicago "must haves."

Bring the Roaring 20's back to life with a Great Gatsby wedding
There's not much more of a Roaring 20's vibe than celebrating your nuptials with a kiss under the city skyscrapers, all while wearing a fabulous faux fur shawl. Guests cheered for the happy couple after they said their "I do's," and they were promptly on their way to the glamorous reception awaiting them.
Guests were greeted by a unique seating arrangement inviting them to "pick their posts," a play on words thanks to the venue, The Old Post Office. The seating charts were backlit with bright, jewel tone colors that matched the colors within the reception's seating area.
The couple's cake also included the jewel tones found throughout the entire day. It even went so far as to play on the architectural elements of city itself with the gold-carved and marbled layers. The flowers used on the cake were also found in the reception table arrangements, as well as in the bride's bouquet.
