10 years after meeting, bride and groom Maggy and Hans had one of the most extravagant black-tie weddings that truly took the black-tie dress code label literally - they asked for every guest to wear only black! The effect is one that you absolutely must see. The words chic, moody, and contemporary don't even begin to cover it.
Photographer David Lack Photo captured this fashionista's $200,000 dream wedding planned by Javier Bredée . There's a sampling of our absolute favorite photos of this day-to-night affair below, but make sure to also check out the full gallery here for all the rest of the editorial-style shots. Aside from the incredible all-black fashion, this couple is just all-around a whole lot of fun!
What made the black dress code so special was how much it made Maggy's designer dress by Liz Martinez pop against the backdrop. With statement sleeves and delicate floral applique, the dress fit perfectly with both the glamorous daytime ceremony and their statement-making nighttime reception filled with dramatic lighting.
The day of their wedding, Maggy and Hans's nonchalant and cool attitudes radiated throughout the day, all the way through a 10+ hour reception with Jay Sanchez DJ , live bands, and the most amazing surprises that lit up the all-black dress code.
The wedding itself was held at a private estate and pecan farm. To incorporate that element, the bride and groom made sure to include a few of those pecan trees under their black draped tents with glamorous chandeliers.
The entire event was like being invited to a lavish club, designed and produced by the amazing wedding planner, Javier Bredée , where everyone was so elegant and so avant-garde. In fact, the reception turned into an exclusive, top-notch all-night club party with catering by Homero Arras Catering and munchies courtesy of Julie Junk . And when we say the party lasted all night, we actually mean all night - it literally ended at 6 a.m., and it's easy to see why!

This is how you dress for a black-tie wedding
One of our favorite surprises was the cascading shower of white confetti that rained down over the bride and groom (and their guests!) as they danced.
