Add to that the rustic-industrial feel, cider barn, and view of the apple trees and rolling fields make this the perfect location for an intimate wedding.

Sustainable Engagement Rings

The bride's engagement and wedding rings were also from Laura Preshong who I adore because she sells exquisite, delicate rings that are also ethically made. She uses certified recycled metals, Canadian and No-Conflict diamonds, and lab-grown diamonds all from US based suppliers. And all the rings are made within 50 miles of Boston, MA. It was very important to me when I was buying my own wedding and engagement rings to buy something that was sustainable and ethically made and I believe this also becoming more important to future generations as well. I also loved the idea of supporting a local artist instead of a chain.

The Bridal Look

The bride wore the gorgeous Coral dress from the designer Chic Nostalgia that was adorned with a floral elements and lends itself perfectly to the upscale boho bridal look that we were going for. The Bridal Boutique that the dress came from, Vieira Luxe Designer Dress Outlet , is one of my personal favorites because it sells high end dresses, but with a sustainable twist. Vieira Luxe sells lightly used floor samples as well as unused inventory from various dress shops in order to reduce waste and promote sustainable fashion. The hair accessory and earrings that the bride wore were custom pieces made by Vieira Luxe.

The Groom's Look

The groom sported a medium grey suit from Calvin Klein and a unique, textured gold wedding band from the Jewelry designer Laura Preshong .

Family Owned Apple Orchard

This styled shoot took place at Carlson Orchards in Harvard, Massachusetts on a beautiful sunny November day. Carlson Orchards has been a family owned apple orchard since the 1930s and is full of classic New England charm with rolling farm fields and apple trees as far as the eye can see. The new addition of their cider barn serves as a great place to host intimate weddings with an updated rustic-industrial feel, perfect for hipster and boho brides a like.

The cider barn is where Carlson Orchards makes all their own homemade cider, cider inspired cocktails (think old fashions and mojitos with a cider twist), and has classics like cider doughnuts made on site. You can also part-take in cider flights, which adds a fun laid back element to the wedding. that is unique to the venue. The ceremony location was located between the rows of apple trees in the orchard right off the cider barn with the sun streaming through all the golden leaves, which makes for a perfect natural aisle and creates a very cozy setting where you can be surrounded by your nearest and dearest. The custom cocktail signs, invitations, and name cards were designed by Erin Dubay of Dubay Photography .

Bohoemian Tablescape

The bohemian tablescape was designed by our wedding planner Your Day with LK and photographer Dubay Photography and includes warm fall tones and mix matched details for a playful, more laid back vibe that echos the setting of the cider barn. Perfect for a bride who likes to think outside the box and has a love for details. You are also greeted pick your apple and find a seat through our tasty seating chart that features fresh apples from the orchard. The tables and benches were included with the venue and the rentals were from Special Events of New England . Art Direction: Erin Dubay and Lauren Kraemer. Lauren is a true pleasure to work with, she is so organized and really brings your vision to life. She is a wonderful addition to any wedding day and takes the stress out of planning and set up. As an added bonus almost all the vendors involved in this shoot are women owned businesses.

Floral Design

The floral deign was by Afterall Floral Design who are located in both Boston and New Hampshire and is comprised of two very talented young women. They used a mix of high end flowers like orchids and foraged for local vegetation to come up with a relaxed, but elevated look that brought in the fall elements both through their table arrangements and their hanging floral display that was affix to an apple picking ladder over the bar.
