We're so excited to start sharing all of the new collections! THEIA Bridal Spring 2019 has some surprising twits, in fact, this season Don O'Neill (Creative Director) gave the collection a royal twist.
We know, we know ... so predictable.
But wait ... it was a royal interpretation for the THEIA bride. From the looks of it, most of the royal elements are obvious only in the crowns and the set of the show. The extensive embroideries and gilded tapestry brocades and body hugging silhouettes are stunning and do not necessarily scream "I am a princess!"
I'll admit some of the gowns are over the top and are dripping with ornate crystal beadwork which were of course inspired by tiaras and crown jewels (but)THEIA keeps true to the signature soft ball skirts and crystal and pearl encrusted bodices. There's enough delicate Chantilly lace and silk organza to satisfy the Queen herself while still appealing to the modern bride. THEIA says that their princess bride is cool, modern, sexy and confident, re-inventing palace protocol for a new age royal family ... hmmm Meghan should be flattered since it's 100% describing her.
