We will fly you across the pond for Another romantic wedding from 39 East Photography. Andrew and Yuwen wanted to get married in London during the spring and where lucky enough to book Syon Park. A lovely historic venue that usually you would have to wait up to a year to book. The stars aligned and spot opened up and they snagged it.
Here are a few words from Yuwen on her Wedding Decor & Design.
We ended up with a color scheme of cream with spring yellow/orange with touches of silver. When speaking to our florist, she brought out beautiful soft blue and lavender flowers in addition to the spring yellow flowers we wanted. We decided that the lovely marble and alabaster colors in the Great Hall of Syon House, suited the soft blue scheme, and that the Conservatory venue for dinner matched the spring yellows very nicely. We printed the ceremony program in silver ink, and the menus and table signs in yellow and silver for the dinner to match the flowers.
We heartily recommend our florist - Victoria Brotherson from Scarlet & Violet. We loved her aesthetic - soft and organic arrangements that made full use of English flowers that were in season. She's wonderful to work with and was so great in helping us shape the look and feel of the flowers for the day.

For our wedding cake, we liked the idea of a tiered cake that was fairly simple and elegant but with some splashes of color in between the layers, so we decided on a four-tier chocolate cake with white chocolate rolls and berries. ( I love the wedding cake, it looked delicious)
We used cotton bird designs purchased on etsy.com We loved that the artist, Angela, was based in England. Angela designed the birds according to our specification, including incorporating a section of the bride's wedding lace into the bride bird.
Other details at our wedding included small pots of honey as wedding favors. We ordered the pots of honey, and then printed individual labels with each guest's names after buying a font that we loved online from myfonts.com, and tied some gold ribbon on each pot to finish the look.
The tables we named after places of significance for us, which my husband then worked into his speech to tie in those seated at the tables. For example, the table "Marylebone" is named after one of our favorite areas in London.
For our ceremony, we also wanted one that would embrace the myriad cultural backgrounds and religious affiliations of our friends and family - which ranged from Christianity to Judaism to Hinduism. We were lucky to find the perfect minister in the local parish of the Unitarian Universalist church. We also had poetry readings by some of our closest friends: "Most Like An Arch this Marriage" by John Ciardi, and "Love Sonnet LXXIX" by Pablo Neruda.
At dinner, we had a Polaroid camera available at dinner for guests to take photos with and to stick into the guest book provided.
