Although super far away, we swoon over the idea of a Fourth of July wedding. To give you a little American wedding inspiration in advance, True Blue Weddings & Events teamed up with Riviera Mansion and Elan Event Rentals to create this perfectly patriotic photo shoot with Phillip Van Nostrand there to capture every detail.
From the invitations to the drink station to the tablescape, this inspirational shoot has so many ideas perfect for any couple looking for a relaxed event! Don't miss any of these fabulous American wedding ideas by visiting the full gallery here.
From True Blue Weddings & Events:When approached about doing a photoshoot with a 4th of July theme, so many fun ideas immediately flooded our minds, but we ultimately chose to go with a very vintage, Americana theme. The Riviera Mansion's outdoor Garden Lawn and Patio lent itself to dreams of a summer wedding with fresh, vibrant elements, lawn games, and vintage props ad decor.
We knew Tenley would be the perfect floral designer for this shoot and she definitely nailed the fresh, summer feel with vibrant centerpieces featuring strawberries, various lettuces and pops of white florals in picnic baskets!!! She even brought along some fun, vintage, All-American props!
When planning any event, we always start with the perfect rentals to match the vibe. Elan Event Rentals provided just that. We chose to go with the Patchwork Dining table and Marina Bench and Chairs (actually made from recycled boats!), matching antique teak hollowed cubes and completed the feel with a vintage bocce ball set!
We decided to complete the summer look with patterned napkins bringing in some stars and stripes, teal blue glassware, woven chargers and berry basket favors at each place setting. Jamie Nordella, the newest member to our True Blue team and amazing graphic designer, put together a very fun and patriotic invitation suite complete with drink flags and sparkler tags to match everything! Finally, the classic blue Cadillac, strung with fabric bunting to match the napkins was the ice cream on our All-American pie!
You simply must see more of this Santa Barbara wedding venue. Riviera Mansion was built in 1880 as a private estate, this estate wedding venue resides in the historic estate district of Santa Barbara's lower Riviera. Just a block from the Courthouse, Alice Keck Park and State Street, the mansion is the premier downtown wedding venue.
Rather than going with the traditional getaway car decoration of cans — which could potentially damage your sweet ride — consider using decorations made from materials that won't scratch your paint. This bunting, made of red fabric, looks great and won't lead to spending hours in the garage after you get back from your honeymoon!
