My husband, Luigi and I met in 2014 in Calabria, Italy. I was on my summer vacation as a New Jersey native while Luigi was the lifeguard in the beach. To make a long story short- it was like a movie to say the least. We had an instant connection and committed to a two year long distance relationship.

Kristy Rice of Momental Designs created the custom invitations for this over the top amazing Italian Destination Wedding.
In 2016, Luigi moves to the USA and we got married in Italy in 2019. We had to get married in the Amalfi Coast. It has been a dream of mine! I had 60 guests from NJ and 60 from Naples, Italy. It was a perfect size but, rather big for a destination wedding. It was hard to find a venue to accommodate 120 people as most places in this area are quite small.
My wedding planner, Valentina of Sposiamovi went above and beyond. She found us the perfect venues. We rented out the most famous beach club, La Scogliera in Positano for our ceremony and one of the best nightclubs, Africana, in Praiano for our reception. We wanted our guests to live “la dolce vita” aka the sweet life. I wanted the experience to be authentic! During the ceremony our guests had frozen aperol spritz to stay cool.
Malafronte did a stunning job with pops of color in these florals on the Amalfi Coast. Armando Malafronte is a Florist and fashion designer and events designer. Malafronte did a stunning job with perfect pops of color in these florals on the Amalfi Coast.
We hired a local band from Capri that paraded with us through the streets of Positano. All of the locals and tourists were stopping us- it was a surreal moment! We stopped at a at bar for a toast.
After that our guests boarded a private boat and took it to our reception. Upon arrival to Africana, they were able to indulge in an amazing cocktail hour. We had fresh mozzarella made in the moment as well as a fresh fried calamari stand.
Shortly after, Luigi and I arrived in our own private boat. From then on we danced the night away on the cliff side. The view was amazing! We ate so much fish and pasta while drinking endless limoncello. The decorations were to die for. I had real lemons and bougainvillea everywhere! It was so “Positano.” We had a DJ and saxophonist and partied till 2 am. Our guests took home custom ceramic plates with their name as the decor. On the back of the plates was our wedding date.
