Our next couple had the sweetest vintage wedding along the Hudson River, and we’re totally digging the industrial vibe of their unique venue, Hutton Brickyards. Their decor was kept simple with wild greenery and flowers for both the ceremony and reception. But the coolest detail? The vintage Bingo board they scored at a garage sale for the reception.
Since their wedding was earlier in the day, these two had a lunch/dinner reception with vintage Bingo cards for all to play along while they dined on a tasty vegetarian menu. It was a totally chill, laid-back experience for all in attendance. Congrats you two! See the highlights captured by Amber Gress Photography below and in the full gallery.
Sarah + Erica met due to common interest of writing. Groom is a publisher and Bride has a book of poems published. Their simple vintage wedding took part at the lovely Hutton Brickyards along the Hudson River. Since the couple is vegetarian, it was very important for them to have a caterer and a menu that reflected this. Grounded was perfect for the job, the food was delicious.
For their reception, they found the big light up old school bingo board at a garage sale and plan to reuse it in the bar/restaurant the groom is helping out with. Guests enjoyed old school call cards and bingo dotters on their tables as they sat down. The prize for the winner was a brick (Hutton brick) that was signed by Steven King-- since the groom was in publishing.
