Alexy and Ed had the most perfect summer wedding ever in Santa Barbara, California. Their elegant garden wedding started off with the prettiest + intimate backyard ceremony, followed up by a dreamy reception at La Cumbre Country Club.
The garden chic design came together with white blooms and loads of greenery, along with wood accents and soft candlelight. The bride looked radiant in her gorgeous lace Oscar De La Renta gown, while her bridesmaids wore custom dresses in nude. So pretty! Megan Sorel photographed all the love in action, so enjoy her gorgeous photos below and grab a closer look in the full gallery.
From Magnolia Event Design and Planning: Alexy and Ed were married on a sunny summer day. The pre ceremony and ceremony took place at Ed's parents home in Hope Ranch, California in a lush garden with views of the rich purple mountains. Alexy and her closest ladies got ready at the near by El Encanto Hotel with a little help from Team hair and makeup. Alexy wore an Oscar De La Renta gown, Gianvito Rossi heels and carried a petite bouquet of white florals. Her ladies wore custom designed gowns that Alexy decided on only weeks before.
Guests arrived at the ceremony venue via Santa Barbara Trolley and were greeted with rose champagne, lemonade, wine, and custom shortbread cookies by Poppins and Post out of Napa, CA. The cookies featured their last initial- R and details from the invite.
The guests boarded the trolleys for a quick ride to La Cumbre Country Club where they enjoyed a cocktail hour on the lawn. We filled the space with custom green lounge furniture for guests to cozy up on and enjoy some light bites and cocktails. When it was time to move inside guests found the atrium room of the country club transformed into a chic garden. Nude curtains, tons of candles, white china and florals in whites and greens graced the tables. Guests enjoyed a delicious 3-course dinner before moving into the bar area for a night of dancing. They bounced between the photo booth by Open Air and the custom dance floor which was kept busy all night long, thanks to Danny of Elite Disc Jockeys fun mixes. It was the most perfect chic garden wedding.
