There's something about desert weddings that we can't get enough of, and if you ask us, this trend isn’t going away anytime soon (YAY!) Which is why we're so happy to share Molly and Connor's desert chic day at The Paseo in Arizona with you!
Wild One Events played off the desert landscape with a mix of moody tones, wild florals, and soft candlelight. The overall design is both romantic and oh so dreamy, and just wait till you see the bride and her squad! See some of our favorite moments below from Alexandra Loraine Photography and grab a closer look in the full gallery.
From Wild One Events: Molly & Connor's wedding was a blend of romantic details (lots of candle light and plenty of flowers!) with more edgy touches (the raw industrial foundation of the venue and bringing some deeper tones into the color palette). We kept this juxtaposition in the back of our minds during the planning/designing and made sure to really emphasize the elements of the venue itself when thinking through their wedding day.
One of the more exciting parts of the design was planning the florals for their big day. Molly wanted everything to be romantic and slightly wild so we really ran with that concept throughout. Our favorite aspect of the floral design was the interactive seating assignment table where guests had to find their names on one of the floral buckets in our display. Watching guests enjoy and experience that detail as they headed into the reception was really truly memorable.
It was also really important to honor the two of them and their story throughout the wedding day as well. Molly and Connor are very fun-loving and enjoy exploring Arizona together, so having the desert as our backdrop of the venue to play with was incredible. We also designed their wedding favors to emphasize this aspect of their relationship and brought in cookies from Ruze Cakehouse in the shape of the state of Arizona and saguaro cactus. Overall their day was beautiful, meaningful, and a ton of fun for everyone!
