From
Kirkbrides Wedding Planning & Design:
Taryn and Garrett’s September wedding was an absolutely stunning event that their guests will never forget! Their wedding ceremony and reception both took place at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland. Taryn chose a neutral color palette with touches of blush pink and florals by Pieter Bouterse Studio delivered just that! From the drapery, lighting, and beautiful arrangements for the ceremony, to the mixture of high and low centerpieces, custom dance floor and stage for the reception space, the Renaissance was completely transformed.
After the ceremony, guests made their way up to the third floor of the Renaissance where they were greeted with passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and the music of Harpist Virginia Dickson from Cleveland Music Group. A beautiful display of escort cards, created by Blue Envelope Boutique, surrounded a gorgeous floral centerpiece full of roses and orchids as guests entered the ballroom.
Once inside the ballroom, guests were taken aback by multiple chandeliers and large hanging floral chandeliers. A striking four tier wedding cake from Luna Bakery was displayed on the crisp white custom-made dance floor. Also inside the reception space were multiple lounge areas with furniture provided by Borrow Rentals where guests could relax after having their photo taken in the photo booth provided by ShutterBooth.
Make sure you have a pair of lower shoes to change into for the reception. You don't want to have to sit on the sidelines of your own wedding because your feet hurt! Additionally, bring a lot of safety pins! My dress was bustled to the height of my high heels so when I put on flats later in the night my dress was way too long. I had to use safety pins to help make it shorter so I wasn't stepping on it.
