Is it possible to have a casual yet glam wedding? Yes! Here's proof: Erin and Zach's wedding at Fontaine Estates Winery, styled by Wedding Wise, was a true reflection of who they are as a couple. Casual, yet a bit glam! Gold, sequins and various shades of luscious pink were a complimentary color palette to the rustic feel of the venue and the green vineyards.
Erin loves to craft and is very artistic so she made a lot of the decor
for the wedding. She found all the
centerpiece vases and spray-painted them gold. She gave life to old
picture frames by spray-painting them and turning them into wedding
signs that she wrote herself. See all the products of her hard work in the full gallery, all photographed by Kira Baron Photography.
From the vendors: One of the most special moments of the day included Erin and Zach's three Boston Terriers joining in the festivities for some family photos! Even the dogs dressed fancy for the occasion with special collars for the two boys in the wedding colors and a fabulous greenery necklace for the lady Boston made by Kameo Events. Erin is really close with her mother who walked her down the aisle and gave her away to her new husband. They shared a moment together before the mother of the bride gave her daughter away to her new husband. It was evident that Erin and Zach are very loved by their friends and family who took every opportunity to congratulate and love on them and dance the night away together!
From the bride: 1. HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER!! Be sure to make that part of your budget. I could not have done without my wedding planner, she made me think of things that I would have not even thought through that could have potentially became a day of disaster. 2. DIY is everything!!! I started doing DIY prep a year in advance, it saved me so much money and come time of wedding crunch (two months before until the day of) I wasn't stressing abut decor and signs, they had been done for months!
3. If you plan to have your pups there for the big day, whether that is just for photos before or during the ceremony.... think it fully through. I wouldn't change it for the world that I had my pups there for photos but I would have had them come sooner so it was a private thing so less distraction for them!! 4. DO A FIRST LOOK!! That moment between the two of you is absolutely amazing and breathtaking and being able to share that just the two of you is great and trust me, walking down the aisle is a whole different feeling, it is the first look all over again, it is the real deal and you still get that feeling!!
Looking at the weather a week before the big day it was supposed to be 90 degrees and sunny. That changed quick... during the day while getting ready and looking out the window it was soooo windy and starting to sprinkle... I just told myself "it will pass". It did just at the right time and I have to say, it made from some beautiful photos!!!
This Lovely Rain And Shine Wedding is another great example of a pretty rain-filled wedding!
