My dress was made by Cymbelline from L'Fay Bridal and perfectly complemented Cedarwood's plantation like decorum with its layered organza bottom and natural French lace high neck top. A blusher with a crystal encrusted headband completed the look.
Upon arriving to Cedarwood we just knew this was the place for our wedding. Lori showed us around the property and the ideas just started flowing like a fountain. It's the kind of place that not only inspires, but gives a setting which is so naturally lush and beautiful that anything you do only seems to add to its magnetic appeal. The overall style of the wedding theme was rustic meets shabby chic.
Since Cedarwood has such vast amount of outdoor space, Adam and I really wanted to utilize as much of it as we could. This is where we had the idea to have over-sized outdoor games such as Jenga, Scrabble, corn hole, chess and checkers. There was even a ball pit for the little kids. Oh! and lets not forget the horse rides out in the meadow!
Our reception was outside in a tent with farm tables. This was paired with burlap runners an assortment of centerpieces ranging from flowers in mason jars to crystal covered votive candle holders. The cutlery was held in burlap holders with our last name initial "W" painted on the front.
