From the Bride:After finding the perfect venue, our planners were able to assemble an amazing team of vendors who would ultimately create an event that we felt was a true reflection of our love story. From the Three Sisters mountain range displayed on our custom stationery to the antlers and images of mountain wildlife seen throughout the table numbers, it was very important to us to remain authentic and true to style of the venue.
Definitely a steal worthy bridesmaid look that you should not miss out on. Blush pink uneven hemline ruffled dresses paired with gold shoes and a thin gold belt. Wait there is more each bridesmaid was given a gold clutch as a thank you gift. Hello cuteness!
From Lustre Events:The mood on the top of that mountain while everyone celebrated this couple was nothing short of magical. It was an honor to be a part of this beautiful day and to incorporate their story and personalities throughout the details. The custom mountain illustration, lace from the Groom's late mother's wedding dress on the bride's bouquet, the romantic baby's breath "altar" we designed for them to stand within to exchange vows, and the lace runners and sequins that adorned the head table only scratch the surface of all the sweet, sentimental, and gorgeous details that were incorporated.
From the Bride:Our wedding was completely infused with our personalities and love story, with no details overlooked by our wedding planners. Our favorite elements of the wedding included: the Super 8 video displaying scenes from our engagement photo session at Niagara on the Lake, the café lights strung throughout the rafters, the “Lumber Jack” themed photo-booth, and our variation of a guest book, having guests leave messages in bottles for us to read while enjoying a glass of wine on our anniversaries to come.
The big “reveal” of the reception room was one of the highlights of the day. Seeing the vision that Lustre Events created over the course of fifteen months come to life literally took our breath away. The décor elements were rustic yet chic – with the burlap linens brought to life with gorgeous florals and beautiful mercury gold candles. The rustic tree-slab chargers, antlers, and DIY place card holders were in perfect contrast to the gold sequin linen covering the sweetheart table – A nod to my affinity for all things glittery!
Above all, our favorite element of the wedding was the sweetheart table, which was created for us with love by the incredibly talented, Bucket & Whisk. This over the top dessert table replaced the traditional candy buffet by featuring all of our favorite mountain treats including: maple and rocky road fudge, caramellows, and of course, caramel apples! This crowd pleaser kept everyone dancing until the wee hours of the morning! Overall, it was an unforgettable day that celebrated, not only the love that my husband and I share for each other, but the love we share for the mountains and the great company of our loved ones.
