Whimsical and romantic, this shoot was inspired by the glamour of the Bridgerton era & the coastal blue and green hues of the Lowcountry. Featuring extravagant gowns, a classic Rolls Royce, and the cutest Corgi puppies we’ve ever seen, every detail was thoughtfully curated & designed by the incredible team at Ash Events and artfully photographed by Rebecca Sigety Photography. Aiming to highlight all of the beautiful colors seen in a Low Country spring, Willow Event Designs created the bouquet, reception and ceremony floral design with classic spring blooms in a color range of pinks & oranges to blues and yellows and even included a pop of ornamental cabbage, a classic nod to the British countryside. The Arbor, from Loluma, and its whimsical blue draping from Veil Charleston created an intimate setting for this sunset reception on the banks of the Ashley River. More pops of blue can be found in the elegant chairs (Ooh! Events) and custom linens from Stradley Davidson.
The reception space was completed with a beautiful cocktail bar, surrounded by live oaks, and decorated with the couple’s custom crest, designed by The Welcoming District. This crest, as well as the whimsical invitation suite pulled each piece of the day together, with icons highlighting the couple’s love for the garden, travel, and of course, the low country. But perhaps the most dynamic pop of blue was highlighted through the bride's blue/green ball gown. Untraditional yet the perfect combination of elegant and playful, this gown was a true showstopper. Other beautiful details from the day included live event painting by Event Painting by Haigan, a custom oyster shoot from PPHG Events, a beautiful getaway car from Whipdash Charleston, and cinematography from The List Productions.
