Mountains Meet the Ocean at This Inspirational Hawaii Wedding Heaven
This inspo shoot was all about combining neutral hues amidst a raw Hawaii landscape, so the designers played with the idea of a message in a bottle, combining vintage vibes with a lush boho style. The color palette centered on blues, blush, whites, and ivory. The new venue at Kualoa Ranch was perfect to bring that raw Hawaii felling, with both ocean and mountain views. Carol Oliva Photography styled and united a group of incredible vendors and captured all of the magic, while Lulus Lei Bouquets created all of these incredible florals you'll see throughout. The vintage inspired invitation suite on recycle paper were created by Juniper Calligraphy. She created a beautiful vintage invitation suite, handwritten menus for the menu bottle and hand painted the same flowers on recycle bottles. For the shoot, the bride was dressed by Epiphany Boutique Carmel, and the ceremony took place by the beach with a beautiful postcard-inspired background. The beautiful jewelry created by James Michelle in gold can't be forgotten. This detail helped to create a romantic inspiration that carried through the idea of a message on the bottle.
Aloha Artisans created the mixed blush and rattan lounge to bring to life a comfortable and unique ceremony setting. And seriously... the arch couldn’t not be more romantic totally filled with flowers.
The dining table was incredibly romantic and set with white table linens framed with hanging lanterns. And of course it was covered with the most beautiful flowers. The tablescape was purposefully kept very neutral to enhance the pop of blue from the bottles and the blush flowers, abalone shells, and coconuts. The escort cards were painted flat shells that complemented a unique plate charger in the form of a leaf in macramé. To coordinate, the cake had hints of blue and gold flakes to add that extra special detailed touch.
Some Advice from the designers:
1. Choose a wow venue that will speak for itself. This helps minimalize the decor you may want to bring in and creates that special "wow" factor.
2. Make sure to use neutral colors and romantic flowers. Doing so helps to create a classic back drop that will never go out of style.
3. Plan for a beautiful lounge for you and your guests. This will help everyone feel extra comfortable on your special day.
