Forget what you thought you knew about fall, this team turns that all on its head. Instead of the typical moody palette, they opted for a bright and cheery one, and don't we all need more of that in our feeds these days? To make it clear that this is indeed a fall wedding, Miller House Flowers ditched traditional greenery in the floral arrangments and opted for dried elements in shades of tan and brown. They even incorporated some red berries that definitely evoke that fall vibe. This wedding design is perfect for couples who live in a climate that doesn't have distinct seasons and want a fall wedding without it being all about the changing leaves and cooler temps.

Adore Weddings was determined to design a fresh take on fall and they did just that! We love the selection of Woodhaven Weddings + Events, this bright white barn, as the backdrop for this shoot. It is the complete opposite of the typical deep earth tones and rustic look of most fall weddings. Photographer, Lauren Baker, definitely understood the assignment and kept these photos light and airy to go with the reinvented fall look. With this shoot, our intention was to highlight a different take on a fall wedding palette, one with sophistication and a light color and style spectrum. We wanted to demonstrate that fall weddings don't have to be flat with dramatic dark tones, but rather they can also be warm, bright, and airy while still being appropriate for the season. We created a classic, romantic feel and sought elements that could stand the test of time. From the linens and the couple's attire to the vintage, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, we pulled together an eclectic mix that was sophisticated, elegant, and incredibly playful–a look that has been beautiful for decades and will never go out of fashion.

We were very excited to highlight women owned businesses for most of our vendors and a real-life couple as our models because true love is the best love. During the planning process of this shoot, we were up against some of the same challenges that are currently impacting the entire wedding industry: our color palette had to shift slightly due to floral availability and we had to get creative with sourcing our tableware due to supply and stock shortages. These challenges highlight why it is vital to work with vendors who understand how to navigate these challenges while still honoring your vision for your day.
