Here we are, just about ready to hit that epic calendar reset button and see what 2021 has in store for us. We were so hopeful for 2020, but OH MY GODDDD, it was the biggest bust of our lives. That being said, we still witnessed some of the most stunning weddings and got inspired by couples making the best of a deeply-disappointing year. As we do every December 31st, we’ve rounded up 20 of our favorite and most-loved (according to the engagement, of course, we love and adore everything we feature on our feed!!) photos.
In 2020, you guys, our readers, fans, and followers, were down for some really specific things - and what’s important to note is that they weren’t really material, superficial things, either. It wasn’t fashion, so much, it wasn’t jewelry or megawatt engagement rings, really, instead, it was the high-impact details that just seemed to mesmerize, plain and simple.
These were the categories that got ALL the likes and love and we’re so happy to see it, too, because we were behind the scenes, double tap twinning right there with you!

Okay, so yes, more minimalistic cake designs have been en vogue over the last few years, but it looks like fancy fondant confections, pressed flower takes, and embellished edibles are coming for the win this time around.

No kidding, moons are a major ❤️ grabber on our grid! As are hoop+flower installs. Every single time we posted one of these circular ceremony installs, ya’ll went crazy - and so did we, they’re sooo pretty and they add so much to an altar. Not to mention, it’s a great opportunity for vendors to collab. Florists with designers, event planners with rental companies. We love it!

These pairs were all of our heroes, and we mean that in the most sincere way. We loved watching pairs embrace the craziness of a corona wedding, shake off the bad vibes that accompanied weddings on a collision course with COVID, and say a big ole “f*** you” to the year that was robbed from us (peep that nice honey-mooners pic up top ☝️).
These photos just make us realize that despite having an epic failure of a year, there were bright spots that kept us going (and they’ll continue to!).
And note that although we’re just crediting photographers, we’ve included links to the full Instagram posts with ALL the important people tagged, we promise! 😊
