The invitations suite was designed by Hi Lovely. Her inspiration was the prismatic effects of a rainbow. She wanted to create hope through color to brighten up the mood especially during COVID. She used geometric shapes create contrast and depth.

The Ring

The Dress

Patricia found the perfect wedding dress at Bellasposa Wedding. It was a Rose Gold Martina Liana style number 884. It was the perfect flirty, yet feminine, and glamorous pink wedding dress for our modern-day bride. The bodice of this tulle gown had beautiful layers adorned with pearl beadwork that gave the illusion that you are floating.

The Groom

Andre wore a Friar Tux Rose Pink Notch Lapel Suit. What made this special was that it was a styled elopement and they were a real couple.

Andre & Patricia first met in 2009 in Santa Monica at an acting studio. Her radiant smile lit up the room and immediately caught Andre's attention. It was love at first sight. They both graduated from acting school, but Andre pursued his modeling career, while Patricia went on to pursue a nursing degree. Their careers took them in different directions. In 2018 their paths reconnected. Andre is a fitness instruction and actor. Patricia is currently a nurse.

The Ceremony

Our design was inspired by Shawna Yamamoto. We wanted to live colorfully and bring something different to the wedding industry. We know that pastel colors evoke happiness. We wanted to bring fun pastel iridescent colors to the desert. It was very unique and dreamy. We wanted to breathe color into the Boho vibes. After all who doesn't like pampas grass, dried flowers, etc. Andre & Patricia were greeted with an asymmetrical, iridescent, loopy, fun, offbeat, whimsical ceremony arch designed by The Altarnative.

The Tablescape

There were so many pretty details and romantics that went into the design of our intimate reception. The floral centerpieces were Casa De Perrin adorned the tabletop. We wanted curate a design that incorporated a sophisticated, yet modern Bohemian look in Joshua Tree. We chose a handcrafted rattan charger and paired it up with modern pastel ceramic dinnerware. To create sophistication and elegance, we played with different colors and patterns for our tablespace. Guest were welcomed to dinner with a beautiful calligraphed iridescent menu by Jackie Chen DesignCreative Amme made Rose Gold mirror name plates for each guest.

The Cake

Elegant wedding cake with desert floral arrangements

Our cake designer Mwokaji Cakery designed a beautiful layered wafer paper cake that she hand-painted in ombre pink hues. Wafer Paper Cakes took the cake world by storm in 2020. This cake was delicate in nature but a gorgeous accent in the desert. The Bella Belle Shoes were another dainty, hand beaded with milky teardrop stones and beads that sparkled in the desert. There’s just something so intimate with elopements. We came together as a team to celebrate love in Joshua Tree. Love is not canceled.
