With so much lovely wedding inspiration out right now, we are super excited to share this edgy industrial design that’s filled with both charm and romance. Who says leather, marble and motorcycles aren’t pretty? We certainly don’t, and we’re head over heels in love with all the unique industrial inspired details in shades of burgundy and copper.
From the brides gorgeous tulle Hayley Paige dress, to the beautiful modern tablescape, Social Design & Events out did themselves with this rock n roll inspiration. Psst! The full gallery has even more must-see details from Larrison Photography so don't miss it. Enjoy!
From Social Design & Events: Most of the wedding inspiration found on Pinterest these days is feminine and soft. We love that look and use it for many of our events but we were itching to redefine what's considered "lovely wedding inspiration." Leather, marble, and motorcycles have beauty too!
For starters, we paired an amethyst Hayley Paige dress from Hyde Park Bridal with a well-worn leather jacket. Molly's custom ring had not one but four, stackable, interchangeable bands for the ultimate dose of confident glam! And we were pretty obsessed with her light pink nails with edgy accents by Spruce Nail Shop. Molly's bouquet featured long black ribbons—one of which was daintily braided.
The event decor also reflected the theme. Over-the-top, romantic flowers complimented an industrial table with hairpin legs and copper chairs. The settings included intricately etched plates and elegantly styled burgundy napkins with slate-dipped silverware. Materials included dark metals, copper, marble, tulle and leather.
Molly & Aaron King are a real life couple. They each have a tattoo and happen to be completely adorable. We loved how their laughter and ear to ear grins lightened up the atmosphere of the shoot! Powerhouse Factories is the coolest design firm in Newport, KY. They're known for authentic, screen-printed posters and a cutting-edge approach to design thinking. Their massive wall of prints added lots of personality to the portraits! The shoot was a marriage of romantic and tough; a give and take of sweet and gritty.
