From Michelle at Primrose and Company: I loved the timeless and romantic Carolina Herrera dress with its laced arms from Elizabeth John’s. Vintage droplet earrings and broach as a hair accent finished the look. We paired the classic navy suit by Tallia Orange from Lord & Taylor with flirty flowered pocket square from Original Penguin for charm. The traditional flower girl Joan Calabrese dress paired well with a vintage 1950's gold Syroco candlestick she carried embellished with flowers.
I choose a color palette of cool and vibrant hues including Grape, Raspberry, Lime and Navy. Peonies, Lilac, Alliums and Cabbage Roses to name a few, fit the bill perfectly. Lots of textured greenery tucked and draped throughout as well.
A vintage silver smoked table was set with a mix of Anthropologie wares and vintage china. The organic embroidered napkins were the perfect finishing detail. The Cake Studio designed a gorgeous quartet of mini cakes styled from the elaborate brooch cake to the simplest singled poppy design. All were served upon vintage glassware. The classic Invitation Suite by Abbey Malcolm Press was inked in a Deep Plum on a Staten Blue paper.
