A Charming Love Story

From the Bride: Matt and I were introduced to each other seven years ago through mutual friends. It was finals week of our junior year of college at the University of Oregon. We connected right away, visited each other over the summer and started really dating when we were both back in Eugene in the fall.

We became best friends and it's been that way ever since. I can honestly say that I married my best friend and that's the greatest feeling in the world.

Personal Ceremony

The evening began with a very personal ceremony, with all music chosen by Matt and I because it meant a lot to us. And then we were married by one of our best friends, in presence of all our favorite people. The ceremony led into a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by the most epic dance party we can remember.

Crisp & Clean Preppy Reception

We also knew that we wanted everything - decor, food, music - to be a direct reflection of us. The navy and white stripe/coral combo that ran throughout fit with our style. Crisp and clean, while being playful and fun. And, it complemented the preppy feel of the club.

A Little Coordinator Love

Being in the events industry, I had a very specific vision of how I wanted our wedding to look and flow. The first time I met with Misty of Luxe Event Productions, I felt like she understood my vision immediately - it just clicked. On the day of our wedding, everything looked just as I had pictured in my mind for so many months.

Family Ties

The one thing that we knew from the very beginning was that we wanted to get married at Waverley Country Club. Both Matt's parents and grandparents were married there and the club has an incredible history with his family. With such a stunning backdrop, we knew that our ceremony and reception would be beautiful and that we would be able to put on our special stamp on it.
