This unique wedding began at the beach and ended in a barn! Using DIY decorations created with the help of friends and family, both the beach ceremony and barn reception had a relaxed atmosphere that welcomed guests to celebrate with the couple on their special day. All held at the Southern California rustic wedding venue, Dos Pueblos Ranch.

From the Bride:We chose the barn at Dos Pueblos Ranch for it's charm and practicality. We wanted a theme that would complement the beauty of the ranch and not take away from everything the ranch had to offer. With this theme we were able to incorporate all DIY decor and have the simple elegance we desired.

Our mothers, especially one of my mothers-in-law, got carried away (and we are oh so grateful) with all of the DIY projects. She made our bird cage, signs, flower girl baskets, s'more and picture booth stations and more. Taylor's aunt did all of our flowers and his step-father did the lighting in the barn.

We are healthy and simple eaters and wanted to have food that we loved. So we worked with Country Catering Company to help us deliver this element, who served up grilled meats, fish, veggies and mac and cheese family style. They did such a great job and each guest raved about how great and how much food they ate. They also put together the most amazing ice cream sundae bar I have ever seen — piles of ice cream with several different toppings all served up in mason jars.
